G-BGOR at the Daks over Normandy 75th D-Day Anniversary flight to Caen on June 5th 2019. This Harvard left the formation of the lead three Dakotas, and I was on the cliffs just east of Belle tout Lighthouse. I hadn’t realised that the Harvard had left the formation until it was about 400m away, flying along at cliff height. I watched the Dakotas through my camera lens, and it was a pure reaction shot to get this before it was gone. It was a horrible grey day, and this background was added afterwards in post-processing.
